LADY GAGA PRODUCER SPITS FIRE AT NICKI MINAJ: "F*CK YOU, GET A GRIP"

Grammy-winning singer Lady Gaga producer DJ White Shadow has fired a few shots toward Young Money rapper Nicki Minaj and questioned her true worth.

Prior to deleting the initial comment, Shadow went straight at Minaj's head and called her talentless.

DJ White Shadow has vented his frustrations over Nicki Minaj. The producer, who helped produce Lady GaGa's third album Born This Way, took to Twitter to blast the rapper. He tweeted: "Ok. Nicki Minaj. F**k you. Get a grip. You are lucky, not talented. Stop. Please stop. XO. DJWS" The message was deleted shortly after.

(Digital Spy)

White Shadow followed up the deleted comment with some clarification on his stance toward Nicki.

"Oops didn't mean to delete that. But I don't recall what I said, basically it was "come on son" to nicki. Cause you are wack.," Shadow tweeted November 5th.
"F*ck. What is wrong with the world."

"You can be judgmental. My views are my own. I am by myself. I don't hate. It's not hate, just dislike for poor taste."

"You forget I am a human with MY own opinions."

"I am allowed to have a completely independent opinion. Cause I am paul. Not anyone else. And that is my feeling. So goodnight." (DJ White Shadow's Twitter)
Over the summer, one of Lady Gaga's fans called out Minaj for jacking her style.
Nicki Minaj will probably never escape the Lady GaGa comparisons, but it does seems as thought they are starting to get under her skin. The reigning Queen of Hip-Hop was recently heckled by a Lady GaGa fan as she exited an airport. The fan called her a GaGa "rip off" and told her that she "needs to stop copying Lady GaGa." In the video description it says that Nicki called the overzealous GaGa fan a "b*tch," but I didn't hear it. Did you? Glad to see Nicki kept her cool in this situation. Do you agree with the fan, is Nicki a GaGa clone? (All Hip Hop Rumors)

A few months back, the Young Money star addressed the frequent comparisons.
"We are in completely different lanes. First of all, I'm a rapper. I'm from southside Jamaica, Queens," Nicki said in an interview. "Gaga's a fantastic artist, you know, she paved her way. She's opened her own lane. But I think that I have my own lane, and we never cross. Ever. So, you know, I really don't get the comparison anymore. Our music doesn't sound the same. Our stage presence is not the same. I just can't see the similarities." ("Nightline")

Obama Lines Up Stevie Wonder, Lady Gaga, Billie Jean King, Jay-Z & More In Campaign's Final Days

Barack Obama's campaign is relying on its roster of star surrogates to get the message out in the final stages of the race. Among the boldfaced names stumping for the president are 181 politicians, actors, musicians and athletes who are hitting the phones and campaign trail in support of the president.

The full list of names is available at The Hollywood Reporter, but here's a sampling, followed by the AP's report on the big push:

    Ice Cube
    Jay-Z
    Lady Gaga
    John Legend
    John Mellencamp
    Jason Mraz
    Maya Angelou
    Chris Rock
    Justin Long
    Jon Hamm
    Maggie Gyllenaal
    Chanel Iman
    Katy Perry
    Bruce Springsteen
    Sheryl Crow

For more, head over to THR. The AP's report on what the celebrities will be doing is available below:

JIM KUHNHENN, THE ASSOCIATED PRESS:

CINCINNATI -- President Barack Obama is counting on former President Bill Clinton and Bruce Springsteen, top surrogates for his campaign, to carry his message. But he also has enlisted an army of A-list performers and public figures -- from Lady Gaga to Billie Jean King, from Jay-Z to Crosby, Stills and Nash – to promote his re-election.

The Obama campaign provided a who's-who of 181 actors, musicians, authors, athletes, mayors, Congress members, and more that fit any and all demographic groups in the president's target zone. All are being deployed to carry his message to television and radio in the waning days of a nip-and-tuck campaign.

On Saturday, Stevie Wonder played an unannounced concert for voters waiting in line to vote early in Cleveland. Wonder opened a rally for Obama by rocking the arena at the University of Cincinnati with a rendition of "Keep on Running."

Songwriter John Legend, actor Laurence Fishburne, and congressman and civil rights hero John Lewis, D-Ga., were among those who went to Ohio to lead a "Souls to the Polls" effort with local churches.

The list includes some of Hollywood's big names – Samuel L. Jackson, Anne Hathaway, and Scarlett Johansson – who were talking to Top 40 radio stations. Jackson and comedian Chris Rock were on stations with primarily African American audiences urging voters to go to the polls Tuesday.

Danny DeVito and members of the FX sitcom "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" have canvassed neighborhoods in Wisconsin, made phone calls and visited colleges in the state.

Others on the Obama list include Black Eyed Peas' front man Will.i.am and rock band leaders such as Jim James of My Morning Jacket and Jeff Tweedy of Wilco.

Celebrity sells. Now it remains to be seen if voters buy.

Lady Gaga plays biggest show ever

Lady gaga played the "biggest show" ever staged in Costa Rica.

The 'You and I' singer brought her 'Born This Way Ball' to the Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica stadium in San Jose on Saturday night (03.11.12) and was told it was the most attended concert in the history of the Central American country.

She wrote on her twitter page: "In Costa Rica tonight for stadium show. Thank you so much to everyone for buying a ticket to the BTWBALL. I will leave my heart on the stage ... Thank you Costa Rica, they told me it was the biggest show and turnout they've ever had. means so much to me. luckiest girl alive. (sic)"

Gaga's stage spectacular even eclipsed a massive heavy metal concert by Metallica and the 26-year-old pop superstar is thrilled with her achievement.

She added in other tweets: "the second biggest show to the BTWBALL in Costa Rica was Metallica. @LadyStarlightNy are we dreaming ... Fantastico (sic)"

Despite the success she is experiencing on tour, Gaga's thoughts and prayers are still with the residents of her hometown of New York City following the devastation caused by superstorm Sandy.

The proud New Yorker posted on twitter: "East coast how are you holding up? How are you New York? Staying strong i hope, thinking of you all the time. Can't even watch news feed ... I'll be there as soon as i can to help my old neighborhood. I'm on tour + can't let my fans down. I want to help with my hands with all of u (sic)"

Lady Gaga shows off fuller bikini body in Puerto Rico

Just in case any tabloids are aiming to call Lady Gaga’s bluff on her recent comments about being comfortable in her own skin, here’s proof that she really is - in bikini form.

Mother Monster stripped down to a skin-tight, blue-and-white bikini while relaxing on the beach with pals in San Juan, Puerto Rico Friday, and she didn’t care who saw.

Gaga, who admitted to gaining 30 pounds earlier this year after unflattering photos surfaced online, looked at ease in her Miller Lite bikini with friends DJ White Shadow and Tara Savelo.

LADY GAGA EMBRACES FULLER FIGURE: 'I REALLY DON'T FEEL BAD ABOUT IT'

The eccentric singer, 26, is in town for a few stops on her ‘Born This Way Ball’ tour.
Earlier this month, Gaga opened up to Stylist UK about the negativity surrounding her fuller figure, and confessed that she’s just done caring about the nay-sayers.

“I was acutely aware of some photos on the Internet - my mom called me and was like, ‘Did you gain weight?’ she told the magazine. “Everybody was telling me about it, and I didn’t really care.

“I thought, ‘Well, I don’t really care if they think I’m fat, because, quite honestly, I did gain about 30 pounds.’”

LADY GAGA SLAMS TABLOID TALK OF WEIGHT GAIN: ADELE IS ‘BIGGER THAN ME,’ BUT NOBODY TALKS ABOUT IT

The singer also pointed to Adele as an example of an artist who doesn’t fit into society’s physical stereotype of what a pop star should look like, and yet has walked away from critics largely unscathed.

“Adele is bigger than me - how come nobody says anything about it?” she quipped. “She’s so wonderful and I think her confidence is something I have to match. She has set the bar very high for a lot of women.”

Lady Gaga's Latest Meat Dress Involves A Hot Dog

First off, can we just take a moment to soak in what's happening the photo above because, hahaha, it's freaking AMAZING. Lady Gaga was caught sporting a meat dress once again, but instead of wearing a couture handmade frock (like the one from the 2010 Video Music Awards) she wore, well, this hot dog onesie. With no arms. *golf claps* Over the weekend Gaga posted a video to her Little Monsters social network called "DJWS Vision No. 1" (DJWS = DJ White Shadow for those not in the know) with the caption, "OK we made u a surprise. This is DJWS vision no. 1 AND YES that is me in the hot dog costume trying to be funny." So, of course we watched that bad boy as fast as humanly possible and completely DIED at Mother Monster's armless dancing about a minute in. I mean, girl is definitely succeeding in the funny department. Mama like!

While the iconic original meat dress was made from actual slabs of beef by Franc Fernandez, Lady Gaga's latest incarnation is a little less literal. She sported a sausage-inspired ensemble complete with a bun, mustard and relish all along the top (it's only a few veggies short of a Chicago-style dog!) all in good fun. This year she's been wearing a shorter, more constructed version of the meat dress during her Born This Way Ball tour, but we have to say we're kiinddd of obsessed with the most recent rendition. Why? 1.) Because, um, it's hilarious and 2.) It actually makes us hungry. Like, we're salivating right now, and it makes us feel weird. But what do you think—do you like Lady Gaga's hot dog dress or should she just stick to one meat frock in her wardrobe?

Lady GaGa tweets old demo 'No Floods' following hurricane

The song, titled 'No Floods', has been available online since 2009, but the New York-born singer tweeted a link to the track following the impact of former hurricane Sandy on her home city.

"i wrote this song when i was 16. so weird to hear it now because of hurricane, (sic)"she posted."'NO FLOODS' hope this will cheer u up."

GaGa has been tweeting her support for residents affected by the storm throughout the week. She told fans that many of her family remained in New York City during the gale force winds and heavy rain and even joked that thanks to the name of the cyclone she would "never watchGreaseagain".

"i know its gonna be ok, but that water flooding downtown while my friends are sitting in the dark is making me sad,"she said."i love you new york.

"i'll be there as soon as i can to help my old neighborhood. I'm on tour + can't let my fans down. I want to help with my hands with all of u."

Earlier this week,GaGa wrote an open letterexpressing her devastation at the damage caused by the storm.

On Friday (November 2),NBC aired a telethon -Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together- which featured musical guests including Christina Aguilera, Jon Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen. According to the network, the fundraiser has so far generated over $23m (£14.4m) for The American Red Cross, which is working to help victims of the disaster.

Live Nation Gifts Lady Gaga a 757 Jet

Lady Gaga was gifted a 757 jet by Live Nation. It was likely just a loaner to get her from A to B in luxury, and to express their appreciation at working with her, but who cares? She had her own darn jet for at least a night, complete with her name embroidered on the towels/head rests on the seats. While it was may not have been good for the environment, it was good for Gaga and her ego! She works hard for her money!

She shared internal and external photos of the jet and the catering on her Facebook page, and even shared a photo of herself, in red, white and blue sequins, with statement, bold eyebrows.

She posted: “Thanks for believing in Born This Way. Thank you Live Nation and monsters. hope u feel like I’m sharing this w u.”

Well, yeah, she was sharing the photos with us, but she wasn’t exactly sharing the experience with us. Now maybe if we had a seat on the plane, a bite of the eats that were being served and a backstage pass to Born This Way Ball tour, we might feel totally included but realize that’s not exactly realistic. We get it. We can dream though, right?

What do you think PoPCrushers? Is a jet excessive? Or does Gaga deserve it for all of her hard work?

Lady Gaga Bikini: Mother Monster Poses In Miller Lite Bathing Suit And Reveals 'I Fear Swimwear' (PHOTOS)

Lady Gaga is never shy about showing off her famous figure, but apparently she isn't so confident in a bikini.

The pop star, 26, took to Twitter on Friday (Nov. 2) to share some photos of her and some friends hanging out on the beach. But despite what her little monsters think, Gaga is not a fan of bathing suits.

"me on the beach today," she tweeted, posting a picture of herself sporting a Miller Lite swimsuit. "i have a fear of swimwear," she added, "but beer is ok."

But although she might hate bikinis, Mother Monster kept sharing pictures, adding two more on her Instagram account.

"I fear beachwear but a Starlight reminded me miller light goes all the way," she wrote.

Gaga has been busy on tour, but did not forget about the devastation her hometown of New York has been facing after Hurricane Sandy hit the East Coast hard on Oct. 29.

"east coast how are you holding up? How are you New York? Staying strong i hope, thinking of you all the time. Can't even watch news feed," she wrote, later adding, "i'll be there as soon as i can to help my old neighborhood. I'm on tour + can't let my fans down. I want to help with my hands with all of u."

Lady Gaga fan site and NBC sites hacked

WASHINGTON -- Several NBC websites were hacked on Sunday by a person or group calling itself "pyknic" and suggesting a possible link to the cyber-attack group Anonymous.

It appeared that the "defacement" of the affected sub-sites was cleaned up in a couple hours. NBC and its various websites appeared to be functioning normally as of Sunday evening Eastern time. However, older versions maintained by search engines such as Google and Bing still bore the message "hacked by pyknic" - a possible reference to an obscure hacker or "hacktivist" group.

The message said "Remember, remember the fifth of November." That reference suggested a link to Anonymous, a movement of cyber rebels which has appropriated much of the symbolism around Britain's upcoming Guy Fawkes Day, a holiday meant to mark the failed plot to blow up the country's parliament in 1605.

However, conclusively determining responsibility for such attacks can be nearly impossible.

Also defaced by "pyknic" Sunday was a Lady Gaga fan site, Gaga Daily, an act which drew a sympathetic message from the pop star on Twitter.

"My little angels! help is on the way," the message read, adding that "haus of gaga techies will be on it ... to the rescue. calling them now."

The site was soon restored.

Anonymous and its offshoot Lulz Security have been linked to a number of high-profile computer attacks and crimes, including many that were meant to embarrass governments, federal agencies and corporate giants.

Spokesmen for NBC Universal declined to comment. An FBI spokesman didn't immediately return a telephone message seeking comment.

Lady Gaga: "Adele Is Bigger Than Me" But No One Talks About It

Lady Gaga feels she's been unfairly criticized for not maintaining a perfect physique.

The "Born This Way" singer admitted to packing on the pounds in a mid-September radio interview, and since then, she started a "Body Revolution" on her Little Monsters website, where she asked people to embrace their figures and focus on inner beauty. When the 26-year-old spoke with Stylist UK about the movement, she drew attention to another famously curvy musician: British soul singer Adele, 24.

"I was acutely aware of some photos on the internet -- my mom called me and was like, 'Did you gain weight?' -- everybody was telling me about it, and I didn't really care," Gaga recalls. "I thought, well I don't really care if they think I'm fat, because, quite honestly, I did gain about 30 pounds."

She continued, "Adele is bigger than me -- how come nobody says anything about it? She's so wonderful and I think her confidence is something I have to match. She has set the bar very high for a lot of woman. I need to be a confident woman and just say politically active things when I can that are helpful to young people." (Adele and her boyfriend, Simon Konecki, welcomed a baby boy in mid-October.)

The Grammy winner wishes more women would be supportive and encouraging instead of critical and demeaning. "We should all make an effort to be nice to one another all the time," Gaga says.
The native New Yorker (who's dating Chicago Fire star Taylor Kinney) also shared her beauty mantra with Stylist UK. "Sit in front of the mirror with all of the paints and colors and wigs that you have at your disposal, and just have a real talk with yourself. 'What do I not like about me?' And then, peer into the mirror -- and just f-cking draw right over it because that's what makeup is here for. We're not all perfect -- it's meant to be fun so we can bond as women, and say, 'You know, what? We don't all feel perfect, but did you try that lipstick? It's divine.'"

Lady GaGa's Boyfriend: "I'm A Very Lucky Guy"

Taylor Kinney also reveals he wants to start a family with Mother Monster...

Lady GaGa's other half Taylor Kinney has revealed what it's like to date one of the world's most famous popstars.

Kinney - who met GaGa when he starred alongside the 26-year old in her You And I video - has told The Sun that he fell for the eccentric star as she reminds him of his mum.

The Vampire Diaries actor is quoted by the tabloid as saying: "I look up to a strong woman, maybe that’s why I fell for GaGa.

“She works incredibly hard and is very strong and inspirational like Mom, with a great work ethic."

Speaking of Lady G's music video, the 31-year old said: "I don’t know if my mum has seen the video I did with GaGa, but I liked working on it. It was really fun, I can tell you."

He went on to reveal that he's keen to start a family with the Poker Face hitmaker, explaining: "I do want to give Mom grandchildren, of course. I think I’d be a good dad, it would be a pleasure.

“I’d love it — and I’m in my 30s now. My mum wants me to get married, and have children of course."

Kinney continued: “She’s met GaGa, we’ve been dating a while, we’re in a committed relationship and I’m really happy in my relationship. I’m a very lucky guy.

“As far as having more of a domestic life and settling down into my relationship we have to see what happens."

WATCH: Lady Gaga Gets Out the Vote for Marriage Equality

Lady Gaga continues her record of advocacy for LGBT causes with a video urging support for marriage equality in the four states where marriage-related measures are on the ballot Tuesday, BuzzFeed reports.

In the video, released today as part of a social media campaign called The Four 2012, Gaga says, “I just wanted to remind those of you who live in Maine, Minnesota, Washington, or Maryland that you can actually vote for marriage equality on the ballot this year.”

In Maine, Maryland, and Washington, voters will decide whether to affirm marriage equality in their states, while in Minnesota, they will decide whether to put a ban on same-sex marriage into the state constitution.

“No one speaks more to young people than Lady Gaga,” said Brian Ellner, a cofounder of The Four. “And they support equality more than any other group. If we are going to win and make marriage equality history on Tuesday in all four states, we need young people to get out and vote in record numbers.”

Added fellow cofounder Ryan Davis: “We’re reaching millions of young voters in Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, and Washington over the next four days, focusing on getting out the vote, and Lady Gaga has just become a major amplifier of equality.”

Lady Gaga’s ‘ARTPOP’ Has A Possibly Feminist Song Called “G.U.Y. (Girl Under You)”

In Lady Gaga‘s recent interview with Britain’s Stylist, (the same one in which she talked about her “bathtub outfit”), the singer revealed her forthcoming project ARTPOP contains a sexually empowering song called “G.U.Y. (Girl Under You).” However, in the interview it was relayed as “Go Under You,” so Gaga took to her Little Monsters site to clarify the name. Gaga mentioned the song when asked about feminism, and her answer involved the phrase “edible things between your limbs.” So you’re gonna want to click through for her full quote.

When asked “Can make-up and feminism ever truly be friends?” Gaga responded by explaining her form of feminism:
As a new-age feminist, I would say I quite like the transference of strength I feel by submitting to a man – being under him. I actually wrote a song about it on my album, it’s called GUY and it stands for [Girl] Under You. So wearing make-up, smelling delicious and having suckable, kissable, edible things between your limbs is something I find strengthening because I know that when I pick the right guy, I can let him have it. Some women feel oppressed by make-up and clothing, and here’s to them, they have every right to feel that way as well.”

Back in September, three other potential ARTPOP song titles popped up online — “Candy Art,” “Cold Hearted Bitch” and “CRWTH”— and Mother Monster also confirmed the album would contain a “Telephone” sequel. But the goal now is to find out which volume of the record all these songs may appear on.

Lady GaGa Almost Topless in Cannabis Queen Halloween Costume

Lady GaGa was really comfortable in her own skin. She didn't feel shy to show off her bare chest as she dressed up as a weed when attending a Halloween party this week. "So i was weed for halloween. BEST COSTUME EVER ITS SO FUN," the 26-year-old singer tweeted.

GaGa continued, "Princess High the Cannabis Queen. Photos of party on http://littlemonsters.com/ shortly. and NO 'shortly' is not the new 'SOON.' searches for camera USB in hotel robe with bad hair and hangover. last night was paradise."

The "Born This Way" singer wore a green tutu-skirt with a long green wig. She just covered her nipples with what looked like green stars. Calling herself "Cannabis Queen," she also pretended to smoke pot.

While GaGa was having fun in the party, people noticed that she had lost some weight. It's just a month after she said that she gained some weight. "I was acutely aware of some photos on the internet - my mum called me and was like, 'Did you gain weight?' - everybody was telling me about it, and I didn't really care," she said back then to Stylist magazine.

"I thought, well I don't really care if they think I'm fat, because, quite honestly, I did gain about 30 pounds. I need to be a confident woman and just say politically active things when I can that are helpful to young people," she added.

Lady Gaga Has One Goal With ARTPOP: To 'Make History'

Mother Monster's longtime collaborator RedOne opens up to MTV News about her 2013 album.

Lady Gaga and RedOne have cooked up many a jam over the years, from their early work on tracks like "Just Dance" and "Poker Face" back in the day to their more recent, in-your-face hit "Judas." The collaborators have often pushed each other and musical boundaries for the sake of their art.

And that's no different this time around, as Gaga continues to work on her 2013 album release, ARTPOP. For her latest project, she's hooking up with producers Zedd, DJ White Shadow, Fernando Garibay and, of course, RedOne, who told MTV News that he and Gaga been doing a lot of their work remotely as they cross the globe for work and pleasure.

Zedd Talks Lady Gaga Recording Sessions
"We've been sending ideas," he said. "We couldn't get together in the studio, but we've been sending ideas back and forth, and it's very focused on writing really good songs and, of course, with the vibe of different sounds, different kinds of productions."

While her Little Monsters are anxiously awaiting what this next project, her first since 2011's Born This Way, might sound like, the producer didn't want to reveal too much about their work together as they continue to nail down tracks and the album's overall vibe.

"I don't want to say so much, because I don't know what's going to happen. To be honest with you, I don't know what's going to happen with the songs. ... My intent is the same thing: make history. If we don't feel like this is part of history again, we're not going to do it, but we're enjoying [the process]. We love doing music, so it will be interesting to see what's going to happen."

Like always, the twosome are stepping up their game to create something that sounds nothing like what they've done before — or, at least, RedOne hopes that's what they're doing.

"I don't want to promise anything ... but, of course, that's always the intent," he said. "To be honest with you, it's all about good songs. You can go crazy as you want sonically, which is always what I try to do ... but it's always about good songs. Number one is to make a dance song that is like 'Oh my God!' "

Lady Gaga May Release Two 'Volumes' Of ARTPOP

Gaga says she's contemplating splitting the album into two, with one 'commercial' side and another 'experimental' side.

Lady Gaga has been collaborating with an alphabetical assortment of talent in recent months — everyone from Azealia Banks to Zedd — so it shouldn't come as much of a surprise to learn that her upcoming ARTPOP album might end up being split into two volumes.

That's according to the Mother Monster herself, who broke the news in a chat hosted on her LittleMonsters.com site. Apparently, some of the tracks Gaga is working on for her new album are so out there that she's contemplating turning it into a two-disc affair, with one part "experimental" tracks, and the other, more traditional, radio-friendly fare.

"It's a bit more modern. You never know if radio is ready," Gaga said. "I can't decide how to tracklist it yet. Sort of thinking that volume one should have all the commercial songs and save the experimental material for volume two."

It's not clear if Gaga meant she'd be releasing ARTPOP as a double-disc set, or if she plans on splitting the album up into two separate volumes. MTV News' email to her reps seeking clarification was not responded to by press time.

Gaga also told fans that there will be a corresponding ARTPOP app, and while details are scarce, she promised that it would definitely blow people's minds.

"The app is coming along amazing. I'm flying back to Chicago to work on it," she said. "The developers on ARTPOP are all like 22 and genius kids. You'd be surprised how many genius Little Monsters there are."

Lady Gaga Devastated by Storm Sandy: "My Childhood Is Under Water"; Celebs Keep Tweeting Thoughts and Prayers

As a native New Yorker, Lady Gaga is lamenting the state of her city in the wake of Sandy, the post-tropical storm that wreaked havoc up and down the East Coast this week.

"im not sure where to put these feelings," the pop star wrote on her Little Monsters blog today. "im so sad. i feel like my entire childhood is underwater. the boardwalk in atlantic city, my old Apts in Brooklyn and LES. all the bars and friends.

"im just so sad," she continued. "i know it will be ok. im not sure why i feel this way. maybe homesickness, or maybe its easier to be a gypsy if you know your soul grows from somewhere great. and that great place protected me my whole life, now parts are destroyed. just very sad and pensive today. thinking of everyone today."

Oliver Stone's opinion on the storm is, what do you know, controversial
Rest assured, Gaga is hardly alone as celebs, politicians and those with decidedly lesser profiles in New York and beyond have banded together to send support—of the monetary and moral variety—to those affected by the devastation.

Here's a sampling of the latest tweets from the star-studded corner of the

Twitterverse:

Judah Friedlander: " 'The hurricane was a brutal. My cable went out for 10 minutes.' - out of touch upper east sider. #Sandy #hurricane"

Lady Gaga likes to 'submit' to a man

Lady Gaga thinks of herself as a 'new-age feminist' who is capable of 'submitting' to a man.

The 'Judas' singer - who is currently dating 'Chicago Fire' actor Taylor Kinney - believes she is a new kind of feminist who is empowered in her career but enjoys to be dominated sexually.

She said: 'As a new age feminist, I would say I quite like the transference of strength I feel by submitting to a man - being under him. I actually wrote a song about it on my album, it's called 'GUY' and it stands for Go Under You.

'So wearing make-up, smelling delicious and having suckable, kissable, edible things between your limbs is something I find strengthening because I know that when I pick the right guy, I can let him have it.'

The eccentric pop superstar has always combined her music with lavish outfits and unique clothes - including the infamous meat dress she wore to the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.

But although she believes she can make political and social statements through fashion, Gaga admits she enjoys nothing more than being naked in a bath and smoking marijuana.

The 26-year-old musician told Stylist magazine: 'I just take a warm bath, smoke a doob, lay back and relax, you know?

'When I'm in the bath, naked, in a sea of bubbles going , 'Aahh', that is most me - when I'm sighing out the whole day into a warm bath.'

Lady Gaga Tells New York 'I Love You' Amid Hurricane Sandy

As storm floods parts of the Big Apple, the pop star shares her well-wishes for family, friends and fans in the city.

Hurricane Sandy left a devastating wake as it barreled its way across the Northeast Tuesday morning (October 30). So far, at least 16 people have died in and more than 7 million homes were left without power. New York City, perhaps one of the hardest-hit areas, has been completely shut down as parts of the city were flooded and public transit was down.

New York City native Lady Gaga, who was not home when Sandy hit, took to an otherwise empty Twitterverse to send her well-wishes to her family, friends and fans in New York City.

Lady Gaga's Love Of New York Begins
"i know its gonna be ok, but that water flooding downtown while my friends are sitting in the dark is making me sad. i love you new york," she tweeted. New York's Battery Park, along with areas of the Lower East Side and Alphabet City, began flooding on Monday. Pictures on Twitter showed cars floating in the street at Eighth Street and Avenue C.

Gaga is currently making rounds on her Born This Way Ball. Her next show is scheduled for Tuesday night in San Juan, Puerto Rico. And even though she escaped the wrath of Sandy, she made it clear that there is no place she'd rather be but home. "#SandyNeedsToSitDown miss you mom, dad, natali and all my friends. :( i wanna be there in the rain with you," Gaga shared.

While Gaga did express concern for New York (and added that she's "never watching Grease again"), she made it clear that if any city can make it through Sandy, it's her hometown.

"its such a testament to New York that none of my friends or family members have left," Gaga tweeted. "not even my blind grandma in NJ."

Lady Gaga and Calvin Harris Finally Apologise After Twitter Feud

Lady Gaga and Calvin Harris have finally apologised to each other after trading insults yesterday during a Twitter argument.

The 'Poker Face' star recently confronted the producer and DJ after he claimed to have turned her down for a collaboration.

'We Found Love' hitmaker Harris told BBC Breakfast that he had turned down the opportunity to work with Gaga before she hit the big time in 2008 with ‘Just Dance’. He also went on to claim that he didn’t like the album cuts she had emailed to him.

Lady Gaga took to Twitter to say, "Seems to be trendy lately to talk sh*t about. "Lady Gaga. when your albums/singles drop. Y’all should live off your own hustle. #Ido’

The pop star later tweeted: "Music is mortal if it has no integrity behind it. I’m interested in making the immortal kind. Never even emailed you @calvinharris I guess it’s hard to believe I write + produce my music. Cuz I’m a woman I don’t know about EDM right?"

In response to the Twitter slams, the DJ responded with "No your label emails me. I always make sure I say Im a fan when asked about it, I apologise if I offended u, wasn’t the intention."

Taking a leap out of Harris’s book and making peace on Twitter, Lady Gaga replied with "Thanks for the apology & explaining. My apologies too. Congratulation on your album. Wish”Tyou well. Cheers."

It seems all of Lady Gaga’s monsters backed up their idol resulting in Calvin later saying ‘Jeez you turn down one remix in 2008 and next thing the whole world’s on your back.’

The pair are sailing on their releases with Lady Gaga currently on her ‘Born This Way Ball’ world tour and Calvin Harris released his new album ’18 Months’ yesterday (October 29). The album features collaborations with Rihanna, Florence Welch, Dizzee Rascal and Ellie Goulding.

Tony Bennett: Lady Gaga “One Of The Best Jazz Singers…Ever,” Recording Album Together

Lady Gaga will re-team with the legendary Tony Bennett to record a jazz album that, according to Bennett, will show Gaga in a very flattering light.

“It’s going to really reaffirm that she’s one of the best jazz singers that anyone’s ever heard,” the 86-year-old singer told Billboard.

The two sang a rousing rendition of “The Lady Is a Tramp” for Bennett’s 2011 album, Duets II. After the experience, Gaga told her dad that she wanted to “do a jazz album with Tony Bennett.” Papa Gaga then called  Mr. Bennett while his daughter was on tour in Australia.

The album will follow after Bennett’s Viva Duets and the Lady’s ARTPOP.

Lady Gaga flirts with releasing two volumes of 'ARTPOP'

Lady GLady Gaga has big plans for “ARTPOP,” which, as we can tell by the use of all CAPS for its title, will be a very, very, very important album.

In a talk with her followers on LittleMonsters.com, she is considering releasing two volumes of the epic, according to Idolator. The first edition, out in Spring, and dubbed by LG as “VOL 1,” “should have all the commercial songs, and then save the experimental material. [But] to be honest even the experimental stuff is catchy. VOL 1 is a bit more modern.”  She would release the experimental version a few months later.

Here’s the thing about Lady Gaga: she has, to her credit, really helped redefine the parameters of pop over the last few years. She plays with sonics, time signatures, and busts the door down on preconceived notions, so while a traditional and experimental versions may be smart marketing tools or, let’s give her credit, better expressions of how she’s like for her music to be presented, there’s no need to separate the two in our book.

During her chat, she also revealed a few details: “Princess Die,” a ballad that addresses suicide that she premiered on the road, will not likely make either volume. “I don’t think ‘Princess Die’ will make the cut, but I wrote another version of ‘Princess Die’ that is uptempo. ‘Princess Die’ isn’t as good as all the other songs I wrote.”

She also noted there is a “hip-hop/j-pop/pop song” on the album that is “more underground Chicago gay club trap” than traditional hip-hop.

We also know from previous communiques from Lady Gaga, that she has collaborated with both Kendrick Lamar and Azealia Banks and that the album will include some kind of sequel to “Telephone,” with or without Beyonce.

Who knows, maybe there will even be a collaboration with Calvin Harris after LG and the Scottish DJ kissed and made up yesterday via Twitter.

Lady GaGa confronts Calvin Harris on Twitter over duet claims

Lady GaGa has denied Calvin Harris's claims that she e-mailed him for a collaboration.

The DJ revealed that he declined the opportunity to work with GaGa before she became a global star in 2008 as he didn't like the songs he was sent.

The musician told BBC Breakfast that the tracks he received were album cuts and that he wasn't sent any of the songs which would go on to become Lady GaGa's biggest hits.

However, GaGa was quick to deny the claims she e-mailed him and took offence to his rejection of working together.

"never even emailed you @calvinharris I guess it's hard to believe I write + produce my music. cuz I'm a woman I don't know about EDM right?" GaGa tweeted.

Harris responded: "@ladygaga no your label emailed me. I always make sure I say Im a fan when asked about it, I apologise if I offended u, wasn't the intention."

GaGa replied: "@CalvinHarris thanks for the apology &explaining. My apologies too. Congratulations on your album. Wish you well. Cheers."

Harris's third studio album 18 Months was released in the UK today (October 29) and will be available in the US at a later date.

Lady Gaga Manager, Photographer Terry Richardson Team Up to Launch Pop Water

Atom Factory's Troy Carter conceived of the healthier alternative to sugary soft drinks after discussing music initiatives with Coca-Cola and Pepsi. The new beverage will launch in early 2013.

Troy Carter, founder and CEO of entertainment company Atom Factory and manager of Lady Gaga, and photographer Terry Richardson are teaming up for a new consumer product, Pop Water, set for an early 2013 debut. The new beverage will be marketed as a healthier alternative to sugary soft drinks -- an 11.2 oz can will contain 30 calories and 7 grams of sugar. Initial flavors will include apple, orange, pineapple and grape.

Richardson, a fashion photographer whose sometimes sexually explicit work has stirred controversy, will serve as the brand's creative director.

Carter tells Billboard the idea for Pop Water resulted from the various conversations his company had with Pepsi and Coca-Cola over the years regarding their respective music initiatives. "We noticed none of the brands had music in their DNA," he says. "We felt we could build something with relevance to music and pop culture if we built something from scratch. Whether it's flying to Kentucky with food scientists or flying around the world sourcing the packaging, the last two years has been an education for us in the beverage space."

Pop Water will start with a soft January launch in Southern California before expanding nationally later in 2013. Musicians are expected to play a part of the marketing as well, though Carter was light on details. "We're talking to a bunch of music and pop culture icons who've tasted the beverage. We're gonna have a lot of support behind this," he says.

Using musicians to launch a new beverage is an increasingly common practice in the spirits industry, where everyone from Diddy (Ciroc vodka), Kid Rock (Jim Beam's Red Stag) and Jay-Z (Ace of Spades champagne) have all lent their names, likenesses and even investments to help products get off the ground. But that trend was really sparked by 50 Cent's early 10 percent stake in Vitamin Water, which ballooned in value after the beverage was sold to Coca-Cola for $1.2 billion in 2007. The rapper eventually received a cashout worth an estimated $60 to $100 million.

Not every music-beverage pairing has been a hit, however. Jermaine Dupri's partnership with soy-based 3 Vodka fell apart, and Lil Jon recently folded his Little Jonathan Winery in 2011. Pharrell Williams' Qream vodka, a partnership with Diageo that launched in mid-2011, sold fewer than 200 cases by the end of the year, while the Pitbull-backed Voli Vodka sold about 300 cases in 2011 following the rapper's involvement (Fergie has sine come on as an investor and spokesperson.)

STORY: Lady Gaga Gets A New Plant Genus Named After Her

Though Pop Water will have celebrity faces, they won't be of the typical "sip-and ah!" variety. "The idea is not to be just an endorsement but to be a part of people's lives," Carter says. "Endorsements, where they're just one-offs feels like the artists just got a check for it. For us, we set out to make something that's a lot healthier than what's in the market. It's really hard to get 30 calories to taste good."

And ultimately, Carter feels the biggest opportunity for Pop Water is to market itself around the current healthy-food movement. "We see what's happening in New York with Mayor Bloomberg and this consciousness throughout the country where people want to get healthier, looking for alternatives," he says. "When we saw what was happening with Subway and how they completely disrupted McDonald's…it's a bigger movement than what we expected."

Lady Gaga likened to Isabella Blow

Lady Gaga's unique perception of beauty and fashion allowed Philip Treacy to unleash his creativity, the hat designer has revealed.

Lady Gaga is a "pop version" of late fashion icon Isabella Blow, Philip Treacy says.

The quirky singer recently opened the famous hat designer's first catwalk presentation in a decade and paid homage to Blow by wearing one of her dresses.

Treacy revealed that the collaboration was the fashion-loving Born This Way star's idea - and he was thrilled to have her on board.

"I went to see Lady Gaga backstage after seeing her at Twickenham [for the Born This Way Ball tour], and I was telling her about the show and then she just suggested it. It was all her idea. She was going to be in Dublin the night before, so she said that she'd fly over for it. Playing to 80,000 people on one night and then appearing in my show the next? Amazing. Of course I agreed," he told Vogue. "She had this whole concept, she said she was feeling like Isabella.

She rang me on her way to the show to apologise for being late - you never see that any more. She really is like a 21st Century pop version of Isabella Blow."
Treacy also praised Gaga for her unique take on fashion.

The singer is known for her eccentric outfits and her perception of style allowed the milliner to go all out with his designs.

"She's a really fun person to work with," he continued. "She has a different sensibility - a different idea of what's perfect and beautiful. She allows me to be really creative and brings my designs to a whole new audience."

Lady Gaga Jazz Album Will 'Reaffirm She's One of the Best,' Says Tony Bennett

As if a new album ("Viva Duets"), book ("Life Is a Gift: The Zen of Bennett") and a movie also titled "The Zen of Bennett" aren't enough, Tony Bennett already has his next project in motion -- a jazz album with Lady Gaga.

Bennett, who recorded "The Lady is a Tramp" for his 2011 "Duets II" album, tells Billboard that Gaga's father, Joseph Germanotta, called him on his daughter's behalf while she was on tour in Australia.

"He said she told him that 'I want to do a jazz album with Tony Bennett, a jazz album,' " Bennett recalls. "So that will be the next album after ('Viva Duets')."

The two will be working with arranger/orchestrator Marion Evans, though Bennett says that the song list is "secret." Studio plans are still being determined.

"It's going to really reaffirm that she's one of the best jazz singers that anyone's ever heard," Bennett adds. The set will also let the ageless Bennett immerse himself once again in his very favorite musical genre.

"I'm a great lover of jazz, which is strictly an American art form that was invented out of the churches of New Orleans, and then it became elongated into improvised jazz," he explains. "I'm an entertainer, but I have a great affection for the great jazz artists that commit their life to just playing what they feel and being honest with what they're doing. It's a spectacular music that the world loves. We just finished three and a half months of touring all over Europe and we did quite a few big jazz festivals, and the people internationally just love American jazz and they show up and they walk away swooning over what they just heard."

With the Gaga collaboration in the offing, Bennett is busy promoting the just-released "Viva Duets" -- which pairs him with Latin singers such as Marc Anthony, Gloria Estefan, Christina Aguilera, Ricardo Arjona and more -- as well as the two "Zen" projects. The film, Bennett says, was the brainchild of his son and manager Danny Bennett; directed by Unjoo Moon, it will be released theatrically on Oct. 24 and will also be available on Netflix on Nov. 12. And as the titles suggest, both it and the book mix biographical details with the singer's "philosophy and how I feel about life."

Doing those, he says, "just reaffirmed how I feel about the power of nature and...everything I've felt about my life. I've been very successful wtih the fact that from 1950 to now the audiences have never let me down and they reaffirm that they love what I do, and that creates a tremendous contentment for me. When I can make people feel that good, I walk away saying, 'Wow...' It's just the art of giving; when you give you get and you don't take. You just get from giving."

The "Life is a Gift" book, which also includes images of some of Bennett's paintings, will be published Nov. 20. He has several dates booked in the U.S. through the end of the year including a Dec. 18 Haitian benefit in Grand Rapids, Mich., organized by author Mitch Albom, who wrote the foreword for "Life is a Gift."

Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney

It’s Star Style Sunday and I’m Looking at Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney

If you don’t know who Taylor Kinney is, then it’ time to brush up your celebrity databank. He is Mason Lockwood in the The Vampire Diaries, s Luke Gianni on the TV series Fashion House, and Lady Gaga’s new squeeze! Of course him being her date isn’t a role, it’s more of a heart commitment but they both seem really happy. To be honest I’m surprised that they aren’t all over each other constantly seeing as how the two of them have mere momenst together what with Gaga currently on tour, and Taylor Kinney filming for his new role in Chicago Fire as  Lieutenant Kelly Severide from Squad 3.

Lady Gaga fierce
So do the two have wild sexual escapades while wearing a meat suit and a firework cod piece while trapped in that egg from the Grammy’s? Sources say no. In fact, while Kinney was recently quoted as saying ”I don’t know, because I don’t have that outside view. It’s normal, if you will, in that respect. We’re just normal! I’m a happy guy. I’m a lucky guy.” How sweet! I hope the two of them have fun vanilla evening filled with normalcy and average scenarios.
Riiiiight… that’s just what they want us to think. Anyway I am proud to say that I am proud of mother monster of coming out about her relationship with Taylor as in the recent past she has implied that she was single stating that she doesn’t have time for a boyfriend. Aparently Kinney and Gaga have been together for over a year so there may have been a bit of a cover-up there.
Regardless Gaga is looking great and does anyone know if she’s lost any of that weight yet? Did she all of a sudden become allergic to Bikram? By these recent photos it sure looks like she’s doing something right! Except that yellow bikini… For the love of!

Lady Gaga celebrates 'Bad Romance'

Lady Gaga has had many hits since her debut single, "Just Dance,"  her style has even evolved from outrageous to even more outrageous.
Friday, October 26 marked three years since the release of "Bad Romance." The song was the lead single off of The Fame Monster. Gaga,26, proud of where the single drove her career, decided to celebrate the song during a concert.
"Today is the anniversary of BAD ROMANCE :) were bringing back the "tub hair"n mexico, i've missed you so much. on stage in 40min!!!!!" she wrote onLittleMonsters.com.
"Tub hair" obviously refers to the pink hair she rocked in the bathtub scenes in the video.
She added that she couldn't help but be grateful for all the success she achieved since then.
"Can you believe its only been 3 years since bad romance, & there's 40,000 mexican monsters waiting for me to perform unite?" she tweeted. " I'm so grateful."

LADY GAGA PERFORMS ‘MARRY THE NIGHT’ A CAPELLA WHILE SICK + WEARING BATHROBE

The show must go on is always Lady Gaga‘s credo.

She is the most consummate professional of the pop stars. The singer reportedly felt ill during the Mexico City date of her mega successful Born This Way Ball tour, but she didn’t stop the show. Come on, she never does that! Instead, she m-m-married the night in a new way.

She performed her hit ‘Marry the Night’ both a capella and while wearing her pink, post-show bathrobe, with its hood up for a little while. If you pay attention, you can see the skeletons in the robe’s print during the close ups. She looks like an Ewok from ‘Return of the Jedi,’ too. You can also see her new petal pink hair when the hood goes down. It’s such a pretty shade for her.

There were no backing dancers and no backing track during this perf, other than the thousands of little monsters singing backup for her. They never let her down.

Warning: You might need a Dramamine while watching this fan-filmed footage, since this lil’ monster did not have a steady hand when capturing the moment.

She can get bashed– accidentally — in the skull with a stage prop by a dancer and suffer a concussion without halting the show. She can puke mid-song and still keep dancing and singing. She’s Gaga and she can do any and everything!

WATCH: Lady Gaga's Boyfriend Says Their Relationship Is "Normal"

Taylor Kinney may look tough, but he gets adorably bashful when the subject of Lady Gaga comes up.

During a Wednesday appearance on Today, the Chicago Fire actor fielded questions from Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford about his superstar girlfriend.

Kinney, who has been in a relationship with Gaga for about a year, says that dating a pop icon doesn't feel strange to him. "I don't have that outside view," he told Kathie Lee. "I guess it's normal, if you will. For whatever reason, it works. I'm a lucky guy."

As for getting together with Gaga on tour, Kinney joked that it's not an issue. "She hasn't said anything, but she has a spaceship and she can get from A to B pretty quickly," he quipped.

The singer (who posted this photo of her beau in July) has been gushing about her boyfriend on Twitter lately, encouraging all of her "Little Monsters" to watch Chicago Fire and posting pictures from the premiere party. When one Twitter follower remarked "It's so cute how‪@ladygaga‬ is totally fangurling over Taylor on this show," Gaga replied, "hahaha who me? I know :)" For his part, Kinney was flattered by Gaga's very public show of support.

"I was surprised. I think it's great," he told the Today hosts. "It's, you know, a girlfriend being proud of her boyfriend, and excited. She's been to the set a couple times."

When pressed for more personal details, however -- like the story of meeting Gaga on the "You and I" video shoot -- Kinney got shy. "You'll have to ask her for the whole story story," the actor demurred. "She's better with this stuff."

Maybe next time he's interviewed, Gaga can fly in on her spaceship to field the tough questions!

Azealia Banks Confirms Lady Gaga, Kanye West Collabos

Banks also reveals the titles of two new Gaga songs — 'Red Flame' and 'Ratchet' — in a Brazilian interview.

Remember back in August when Lady Gaga and Azaelia Banks set Twitter ablaze by teasing a team-up? Well, at the time, neither artist's rep was willing to comment on the matter — which is odd, considering that Banks appears to have no problem talking about her collaboration with the Mother Monster.

In a new interview with Brazil's Mix TV, Banks reveals that, yes, she's worked with Gaga and that they've finished a pair of new songs — though even she's not sure if they'll end up on the much-discussed ARTPOP album.

"I worked with Lady Gaga, but I worked with Lady Gaga from afar. We worked via email and via Internet," Banks said. "We have a song called 'Red Flame' and a song called 'Ratchet,' but I don't know what she's doing with it. She's going to release it when she wants to release it."

No word from Gaga's camp on whether those songs will end up on her upcoming album (or whether their titles should be CAPITALIZED, like the other ARTPOP tracks).

But Banks hasn't just been getting busy with Gaga: In the same interview, she also confirmed that she'd recently logged time in the studio with Kanye West, bringing full-circle a story that got some serious traction earlier this summer.

"Working with Kanye was a lot of fun. I just kind of went out to Hawaii for vacation, and he has a studio out there," Banks said. "And he was just like, 'You should really come to the studio,' so I went to the studio and just worked it out."

Lady Gaga Backup Singer The Last To 'Steal' The Show On 'The Voice'

While Cee Lo Green saved child prodigy Avery Wilson, Christina Aguilera used the show's final steal on Lady Gaga's backup singer, Chevonne.

Steal, no more! "The Voice" coaches Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton are all out of steals as Xtina used the remaining one during Tuesday night's battle rounds. The attractive panel is nearing the completion of their eight-member teams who will compete in the upcoming knockout rounds.

The night made the coaches' strategies more clear than ever. Aguilera is going after the next pop star, Green is looking for the most unique personality, and Shelton is looking to, well, win again.

Musical Madness Rages On 'The Voice'

Mini Divas Collide

Christina Aguilera's pop army was led by Adriana Louise and former Disney star Jordan Pruitt, who were paired in the opening battle. The mini divas ran neck and neck (with similar voices, styles and strengths) through the entire process into their performance of Katy Perry's "Hot N Cold," leaving coach Adam Levine baffled as to who really won. Despite Pruitt's experienced voice and stage presence, Aguilera chose Louise, to whom she felt a stronger connection.

Rock On

Country singer Kelly Crapa and rocker Michaela Paige repped Team Blake in the night's battles. From the start, Shelton revealed he was looking for the more seasoned performer, the one who was "ready for this." Paige was more in her element with their rock song choice, while Crapa struggled to push out of her sweet, country boundaries. Levine called their battled a "musical pillow fight" and Aguilera was worried a fight might actually erupt onstage, but the last word went to Shelton who chose Paige for her edge.

The Final Steal

What happens when Lady Gaga's backup singer duets with a child prodigy? Musical madness of "Titanium" proportions. Cee Lo Green brought together Chevonne and Avery Wilson in an excellent battle with two unique and strong voices. Wilson's natural ability and power had everyone in awe, with Levine proclaiming that Wilson won the battle "hands down." Aguilera, on the other hand, touted Chevonne's stage presence. It's probably why when Shelton chose to keep Wilson that Xtina used her and the show's final steal to nab the animated singer for her team.

As the knockout rounds approach, it looks like it's anyone's game.

Recap (winner vs. loser):

Team Christina: Adriana Louise vs. Jordan Pruitt

Team Blake: Michaela Paige vs. Kelly Crapa

Team Cee Lo: Avery Wilson vs. Chevonne

Lady Gaga’s boyfriend: I’m a lucky guy

Lady Gaga’s boyfriend Taylor Kinney has opened up about the couple’s budding romance.

The 31-year-old Chicago Fire star celebrated his one-year anniversary with the 26-year-old singer in August.

Taylor has been tight-lipped about their relationship in public.

Appearing on US breakfast programme Today on Wednesday, the actor couldn’t help but gush about the supportive star.

When anchor Hoda Kotb noted it was sweet of Gaga to tweet a promotion for his new television series, he admitted: "I was surprised. I think she's proud of, you know, girlfriend being proud of her boyfriend,” adding, “She's been to the set a couple times."

Taylor was reluctant to say much more about the singer. Brushing off her worldwide fame, he insisted she’s just the girl he fell in love with: Stefani Germanotta.

"I don't have that outside view," he explained. "For whatever reason, it works. I'm a lucky guy."

Taylor’s interview comes weeks after reports surfaced the couple was planning a wedding in Venice, Italy.

The actor did not comment on those claims.

Lady Gaga 'proud' of Taylor Kinney

Lady Gaga is ''proud'' of her boyfriend Taylor Kinney.

The 'Born This Way' singer has visited the 31-year-old hunk on the set of his NBC TV drama show 'Chicago Fire' a number of times and he was pleasantly ''surprised'' when she recently tweeted a promotion for the new series of the programme.

He said: ''I was surprised. I think she's proud of, you know, girlfriend being proud of her boyfriend. She's been to the set a couple times.

While Taylor admits he is a ''lucky guy'' because he gets to date the 26-year-old star, he insists they would often spend a lot more time apart when he is on set and she is on tour if it wasn't for the 'Paparazzi' hitmaker's secret weapon - a spaceship.

Speaking on the 'Today' show, he added: ''For whatever reason, it works. I'm a lucky guy.

''She hasn't said anything, but she has a spaceship and she can get from A to B pretty quickly.''

Earlier this month, Taylor opened up about the couple's relationship for the first time, describing it as ''great''.

He said: ''I don't think I've ever said anything publicly up till now. But I'm happy. I'm in a relationship and I'm happy. Everything is great.''

Lady Gaga Gets Costa Rican Fern Named After Her

A newly identified Latin plant is going Gaga.

Duke University biologist Kathleen Pryer has named a new genus of ferns found in Central and South America, Mexico, Arizona, as well as Texas after pop singer Lady Gaga. The genus of ferns, in this case 19 species, will carry the name of the Grammy Award-winning star.

According to Duke University, the fern has more in common with Lady Gaga than just a name.

“At one stage of its life, the new genus Gaga has somewhat fluid definitions of gender and bears a striking resemblance to one of Gaga’s famous costumes,” they announced. “Members of the new genus also bear a distinct DNA sequence spelling GAGA.”

The gaga germanotta of Costa Rica honors the artist, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta. In addition, a newly discovered Mexican fern species is named Gaga monstraparva, which translates to “monster little,” after Gaga’s fans, whom she calls “little monsters.”

For the 2010 Grammy Awards, Lady Gaga sported a heart-shaped Armani Prive costume, which resembles the bisexual reproductive stage of the ferns, known as gametophyte. According to Pryer, the way the fern extends its new leaves reminds her of Lady Gaga’s “paws up” salute to her fans.

“The reason we named it after Lady Gaga was not sort of the same reasons recently you have seen, (such as) Beyoncé had a horsefly with a golden butt named after her,”  Pryer told The College Fix. “That’s cute, but our reason to do it, we like to think it was rather deep. Lady Gaga is an amazing champion for equality and compassion, and we wanted to give her a scientific namesake that characterizes the struggle we have in biology for understanding diversity in humanity, in all of biology, and even in ferns.”

Pryer also admitted that she and her team are fans of Lady Gaga and listened to her music while they were investigating. The research was partly funded by the National Science Foundation.

Duke University officials unveiled the new Gaga fern group Tuesday.

Lady Gaga Plotting 'Telephone' Sequel, But Is Beyonce Onboard?

ARTPOP will feature a sequel to the 2010 smash hit, the Mother Monster confirms.

Fans hoping for a sequel to Lady Gaga's hit "Telephone" should know that Mother Monster has news for you: part two is on its way!

It turns out there just might be a little more musical magic left for Gaga and her pal Beyoncé to conjure up. While hard at work on her 2013 album release, ARTPOP, the singer confirmed on Wednesday (October 24) that there will be a follow-up to the 2010 Fame Monster single.

Why is a new genus of ferns named after Lady Gaga? This Little Monster botanist explains!

Responding to a fan, @drunky_gaga, who asked on Twitter, "I heard the continuation of telephone will be on ARTPOP! fact or fake?" Gaga replied simply: "Fact." Little else is known about the tune at this point, and a rep for Beyoncé told MTV News on Wednesday they had "no info."

It was only a few years ago that Lady Gaga and the Queen B teamed up for one of the fiercest pop collaborations in recent memory. "Telephone" not only proved to be infectious ear candy, but the accompanying clip, which imagined the pop stars as "Thelma & Louise" types with a taste for couture and murder, became an instant smash.

We don't know whether Beyoncé will make the album's final cut but Gaga did confirm that Lana Del Rey has collaborated with her on the LP version of "Princess Die," a track she's been playing in concert for months. Additionally, rapper Azealia Banks is set to appear on ARTPOP. In a fan chat on her LittleMonsters.com, Gaga revealed that she recorded a song called "Ratchet" with the feisty MC.

Also during the chat, the pop superstar shared some of the lyrics to a song called "Tea," tweeting, "Its been oolong since i've had a sip and I get this feeling, i need a green detox the truth will be the winner tonight."

She's also rounded up some of her usual production suspects to help cook up tracks for ARTPOP, including Fernando Garibay, DJ White Shadow, RedOne and Zedd.
