Lady Gaga shows off fuller bikini body in Puerto Rico

Just in case any tabloids are aiming to call Lady Gaga’s bluff on her recent comments about being comfortable in her own skin, here’s proof that she really is - in bikini form.

Mother Monster stripped down to a skin-tight, blue-and-white bikini while relaxing on the beach with pals in San Juan, Puerto Rico Friday, and she didn’t care who saw.

Gaga, who admitted to gaining 30 pounds earlier this year after unflattering photos surfaced online, looked at ease in her Miller Lite bikini with friends DJ White Shadow and Tara Savelo.

The eccentric singer, 26, is in town for a few stops on her ‘Born This Way Ball’ tour.

Earlier this month, Gaga opened up to Stylist UK about the negativity surrounding her fuller figure, and confessed that she’s just done caring about the nay-sayers.

“I was acutely aware of some photos on the Internet - my mom called me and was like, ‘Did you gain weight?’ she told the magazine. “Everybody was telling me about it, and I didn’t really care.

“I thought, ‘Well, I don’t really care if they think I’m fat, because, quite honestly, I did gain about 30 pounds.’”

The singer also pointed to Adele as an example of an artist who doesn’t fit into society’s physical stereotype of what a pop star should look like, and yet has walked away from critics largely unscathed.

“Adele is bigger than me - how come nobody says anything about it?” she quipped. “She’s so wonderful and I think her confidence is something I have to match. She has set the bar very high for a lot of women.”
