Even Lady Gaga would find 'scariest shoes in the world' hard to handle

Lady Gaga couldn’t wear these scary new shoes, or could she? This is a woman who often takes along two humans to act as spotters for her right and left sides just in case she falls off some of the tallest shoes known to mankind! These are the “most terrifying shoes” they have ever seen, reports the Business Insider on Monday. The shoes are titled Scary Beautiful.

While Lady Gaga might not even know about these new shoes yet, as soon as you see them the "Born This Way” singer comes to mind as someone that might try and sport a pair in public. Lady Gaga’s shoe wearing experience in the past includes having humans as a type of crutch in case she topples of some off the nose bleed heals she frequently wears, according to the website Two Nerdy History Girls.

South African designer Leanie Van der Vyver created a pair of high heels that take the standards of beauty and perfection to a bizarre new level. She did this as a part of her thesis for a fine arts academy in Amsterdam.

The shoes are called Scary Beautiful, and they’re becoming quite the buzz on the Internet. A video of a model trying her hardest to walk in the ski-high stiletto shoes shows the energy it takes just to pick up her feet, never mind trying to navigate a straight line as she’s directed to do in the video.

These shoes surly make a statement about the lengths that women will go to while trying to capture the height of beauty along with the pain they’re willing to endure to achieve this! While Lady Gaga’s heels sometimes give her the appearance of a woman trying to walk with two left feet, these scary shoes will certainly offer her a challenge if she were to step into them.

The shoes were Van der Vyver’s attempt to explore how far things go when trying to achieve “today’s unattainable standards of beauty.” It made the beautiful model in the video look like a stalking creature from unknown parts of the universe! Shape.com calls them "the scariest shoes in the world."
