Although Madonna and Lady Gaga don’t have any plans to work together, that hasn’t stopped a Brooklyn, N.Y., man from launching an online petition calling for the Material Girl and the Queen Of Dance to co-headline a tour, saying it would “change the course of people’s lives.”

Coming to us via HyperVocal.com, the person pushing for the concert-lover’s dream tour is shoe salesman Paul Marinos. Posted at Change.org, Marinos’ petition includes a few words from his son Anthony asking people to help “put an end to all of this hatred by signing this petition and passing it on.”
As to Willy Loman the senior Marinos, here’s his petition:
“We all know that you two have been at odds with one another for a while, but it’s time to put this menial quarrel aside. We’re imploring you to listen to the words of a 58-year-old shoe salesman and help stop the hate.
“By going on a worldwide tour focused on peace and acceptance, you can help change the course of people’s lives at a young age. It’s celebrities like you who really have the power to rapidly spread messages like this one. The question is, will you use it?”
And you can forget about Live Nation or AEG getting a piece of the action. In a video posted on YouTube, Marinos said he would be the tour’s promoter.
Marinos has barely dented his 1 million signature goal. As of post time, the petition had accrued approximately 150 signatures. But we’re sure that will grow as people realize that only Madonna and Gaga can save the world. Or sell lots of tickets.
