Pop artist Lady Gaga on Tuesday compared the president's performance in the final presidential debate to the comeback of Rocky Balboa.
"Felt almost like he kept poker face last 2 debates and then came like [R]ocky," she tweeted, injecting a reference to one of her earlier hits.
President Obama did not use his fists during the debate, but according to the "Bad Romance" singer, he pummeled his opponent in the style of the underdog boxer played by Sylvester Stallone at the heart of the 1976 movie "Rocky."
The pop superstar watched the previous night's debate, which was the last and final match-up between President Obama and Mitt Romney. She tweeted that afterward, she was more certain of her vote than ever.
Lady Gaga, who with more than 30 million followers is the most-followed Twitter user in the world, asked her followers for their thoughts following the debate, and then shared her own.
She agreed with one follower that "Obama is going to win."
Lady Gaga has been to the White House as an anti-bullying advocate and spoken with the president, thanking him for endorsing gay marriage. Last year, she attended a fundraiser for Obama’s reelection campaign and sang at a tribute to former President Bill Clinton.
